Weather in LDN is wonderful at the moment. Feels like the sub tropics, or something.

I spent a couple of hours around midnight Saturday sat out at the end of the only field in walking distance, watching some of the largest lightning storms I can recall.

Now, it's again deep resonant thundering in the late afternoon, big globs of warm rain splattering everywhere.

I've just come in from the garden, planting things, drenched.

    Sometimes life is good.

I hope the robins I was trying to talk to half an hour ago are ok.

    • 'Garden'. If you're from anywhere other than LDN, NY, TKYO or whatever other dense city, you'd laugh at what I know refer to as a 'garden'. Still. Robins.detritus

    • We watched it over the sea, was awesome. Not often the word awesome is used in the correct way like that. T'was.set
    • No, Awesome is what it was. Rare to feel Nature in LDN. Wish I'd been out by the sea or up upon low hills though!detritus
    • Also the fueling station at an air port was struck by lightning... O_Opango
    • Was brilliant, witnessing it over south London wasn't as dramatic as the sea but it was incredible. Love me a thunder stormmugwart
