I really enjoy where I work and have only but one complaint.

The guy who sits behind me in our double cube is a pretty bad screen-looker. I mean,... uncomfortably bad. Most of the interfaces we design are pretty dark if not black so my monitor is basically a giant mirror, and every time he gets up to get a drink or whatever, he stops and stares at my screen. I wouldn’t think anything of it if it weren’t for the fact that he’ll just stand there and stare at my screen for 30 seconds if not more. Glances I wouldn’t mind, but he just stands there and it is so weird.

I have to believe he’s staring at my screen and not the balding spot on the back of my melon.

I’m tempted to purchase one of those small round mirrors and put it on the side of my monitor so at least he knows that I know... but really... he has to know because this Apple Monitor is a giant fucking mirror. Help me

    • Just ask, “how can I help you?”monospaced
    • I had a really annoying PM sitting right behind me watching my screen all day. I opened a notebook and used that as a mirror, got rid of him in 2 weeks.sted
    • I have one rule for lookers:
      $20/min $40 with both eyes..
      sted
    • hehe... my ex-boss used to do this a lot... now my cats are the only one looking my melonOBBTKN
    • "Do you want me to screenshot this for you?" - And he will never do that shit again.Maaku
    • There's a guy here who constantly commented on what was on my screen when he walked past.set
    • I don't know why it annoyed me so much, but it did, I'd had enough so I told him to never fucking comment on what's on my screen ever again. He hasn't.set
    • I remember you could get a film for mobile phone screens, it made the screen look black I you weren't looking perpendicular at it. Maybe get that stuffshapesalad
