    Imbecile,
I fell for the Maschine marketing a good few years back now too and bought a Micro. Didn't use it much, didn't gel with Maschine much.

When Maschine 2 came out and the software got a load of updates I actually won a Maschine 2. Awesome! So I bought the K10 crossgrade and started investing in their soundpacks. Their soundpacks ARE fantastic.
Still didn't gel with Maschine software.
Ableton live just makes so, so much more sense to me. I came from Cubase years ago then switched to Ableton Live (cracked) in its infancy.

I've thought about selling the Maschine in the past but if I do then I lose my K10 crossgrade and I like some of the synths and especially the piano and strings.

Not too concerned about the sound packs as there's something you can buy that maps all the sound packs into drum racks in Ableton Live which I keep meaning to invest in.

As the maschine sound pack (expansions) have great sounds and great preset beats I use it a lot to start off a song.
Then when the song starts to take shape I'll take time to program a beat using those sounds orsimilar.

Was actually checking out eBay last night to see how much i'd get for my Maschine mk2, K10 and expansions etc and realised i'm better off keeping it all.

    I'd recommend grabbing a Push2.
It does so, so much - and more!
There are rumours that a Push3 may be coming later in the year.

I thnk you know deep down that if you've not "got" maschine before then you prob still wont gel with it.
