Yeah to be clear, Affinity Design offers some amazing looking stuff that I haven't had (and probably never will have) time to look into.
It may not be a suitable replacement for people who fire up Illustrator every day.
But I never create anything in Illustrator. I just need to tweak the occasional logo to update a color or change the spacing for web, etc.. So for me it's looking pretty good.
I'm only on day 2 of the free trial for now, so time will tell.
Between this, Sketch, and Photoshop (which I really just use as a crutch because I know it so well) I feel pretty well covered.
