    "Adobe Muse Product Announcement

As Adobe continues to re-focus on developing products and solutions that provide our customers with the most value, we are now announcing the end of new feature development for Adobe Muse CC.

On 26 March 2018 we will release the final feature improvement release of Adobe Muse"

Good to see our subscription money went into a software, marketing + all associated business costs, only for them to give up when they finally realise what they built was crap, bloated and nothing short of a glorified template editor.

Note to Adobe: reduce our subscriptions costs by not wasting money on nonsense new products that you then withdraw after a couple years. Just stick to making sure PS, AI, AE, IN, PR work on the latest os's and are lean and fast. Don't waste money on new nonsense novelty toys ain't nobody gonna use besides a few adobe fanboys, eg Character Animator, Dimension. And bring back Freehand you fascists!

    • what do you expect from a rampant monopoly? respect for their customers? i think not - you're just seen as johnshans_glib
    • All I want them to do is add in opencolour IO managementmugwart
    • no serious professional ever touched this product that was clearly aimed at the hobby market.fadein11
    • In one of my last jobs the client wanted to convince me that if I do the layouts and wireframing with AI he could reuse everything in Muse...oey
    • I told him, you're gonna pay as twice as much for a job I'll be able to do with Dreamweaver or whatever...but he insisted.oey
    • The developer told him to fuck off...cause...what should i do with all these files? So client ended up redoing everything in Muse.oey
    • just worse...oey
    • So all these people telling me it was a waste of time for me to learn how to code cause there's plenty of CMS and there's Muse and Mackaw...LOL...fuck off!oey
    • muse product is far from a monopoly. Weebly, Wix, Squarespace, etc..etc.hotroddy
    • ugh. I get the biz model of 'throw it out there and see what happens' but this is so counter to creating brand integrityGnash
    • I used Muse a LOT and it's fucking awesome, especially for regular designers who don't want to be bothered with the bullshit tech aspect of page building.monospaced
    • bloated? no fucking clue ... all pages were lightning fast and gorgeous, pixel perfect, ALWAYS WYSIWYG, every single time ... it was a godsend!monospaced
    • hobbyist? sure, that's maybe how they marketed it, but in all honestly, that's all most people really needs in a site IMOmonospaced
    • you're obviously not a "serious professional" mono /sGnash
    • btw, I agree with 100%, monoGnash
    • I think monospaced likes musepinkfloyd
    • Fuse is a fucking godsend for building VR scenes in Unreal - prebuilt animated characters? Yes, thank you.face_melter
    • It's works well for mono, so the point is, why don't they keep developing it? It's a waste of capital to develop a product only to ditch it couple years later.shapesalad
    • If they keep developing it, improving it, it could become *the* wysiwyg website builder for the design community.shapesalad
    • If they ditch it, we all should see out subscription fees going down, right?shapesalad
    • I did like Muse, and I'm NOT a professional "web designer." It was made for traditional designers and it works almost identically to InDesign.monospaced
    • ok fair enough, it's not a tool a pro web dev would ever touch is what I prob meant. Sorry for any offense caused lolfadein11
    • and you are the first person I have ever heard say a good thing about it.fadein11
    • monospaced really love Adobee
      ;-)
      Bennn
    • and my point is that not everyone needs a pro web dev because Muse actually does a great jobmonospaced
    • I doubt you've heard many people say bad things about it either, if any at all. It wasn't a mainstream product.monospaced
    • I thought it generated awful code, like most WYSIWYG editors. That's what I had heard. But fair enough if it was good. I am certainly not preciously attachedfadein11
    • to my opinion in this instance.fadein11
    • Bad code or not, anyone visiting the site would never know. Bad code isn’t visible to users. Nobody gives a shit about code when the site is working :)monospaced
