Since my dad died it hits me every week at a random time, sometimes I simply can't hold myself and start crying like a baby...
    When will be this over?

    • I can't even begin to imagine.

    • Time will heal your emotional wounds and you will get better. Don’t hold it back when it comes – let it all come out.islandbridge

    • Don't think it ever goes away. Just acknowledge it as a life well lived. To continue the emotion like this means he was a good man and did well to his family.mugwart
    • Crying is dealing with it. It'll stop when you dealt with it. I've been there (2006). All the best.jagara
    • @islandbridge is right :)jagara
    • It happens less it never completely goes away. My dad died 7 years ago between my birthday and Christmas, right before thanksgiving. The holidays are hard.shellie
    • And my birthday usually sucks. But I've been trying to do things that make me feel close to him when i feel that way. We shared archery, so I'll go do that.shellie
    • I like to take friends and show them things my dad showed me. For a little while, it's like he's there but just out of view.shellie

    • You will need to learn how to live with it.
      Embrace your feelings.
