Does anyone here accept Bitcoin as payment?
A friend who has his toe in this space says that he encounters a lot of whining from people who have Bitcoin, but are unable to use it for much of anything beyond sitting on, so suggested to me that if I were to accept Bitcoin, it might generate interest - does that ring true to anyone here?
Because of what I do, I'd quote for a period at whatever rate best suited both parties, so wouldn't encounter the sort of situation traditional shops have where they have to be careful with what prices they set.
- We steer clear of it.
It's not money, those people were scammed to believe it was.
I personally treat stores that accept cryptocurrency suspiciously.rafalski - hey hey raf!
Good point - I hadn't considered 'brand impact'. If I'd tried three years ago, *mayyybe*. drawingboard.gifdetritus - Hiya! I did consider it a few years ago but somehow never hooked it up. It kind of was money back then, people tried to pay each other with it.rafalski
- At this point I'm not sure what it's good for, other than money laundering, probably :)rafalski
- I hope one day to have money enough to launder... but right now I'm just prying for ways to encourage business spendyspend.detritus
