Years ago I was in the airport lounge in Gibraltar, sat across from some scruffy old wannabe rock dude who I thought should've known better, given his age. After a wee while I notice a flurry of activity in the periphery of my vision, and then all of a sudden all of the security and customs people giddily bounced over, leaving their posts, to bother the rock gadgie for autographs, who it turns out was Slash.
