Been finding Indesign, Illy and Photoshop CC 2018 versions all slow and buggy on my iMac 2015 retina with 24gb ram and ssd!!!

Surely it shouldn't be slow and laggy.

Though I see that Apple have fecked up the graphics drivers in High Sierra so Adobe aren't at fault apparently.

Should i just roll back to CC 2017 or go all the way back to super speedy CS6?

I only need to export SVG'sthough that are compatible with new browsers.

    • rolled back and stll slow but not as much. specially when using trackpad...oey
    • May or may not help, but corrupt fonts can make the whole CC suite slow/crash. This is nothing new, always keep a clean font library.evilpeacock
    • You can throw as much ram at the OSX version of CC as you want but it all hinges on the shitty, shitty GPU the iMac's use. That's where the bottleneck occurs.face_melter
    • Especially when you're running at 'retina' resolutions. The garbage GPU has to run *that* and CC's engine at the same time. Lycka till!face_melter
    • i don't get why apple doesn't use better gpusGnash
    • Yeah, even turning off GPU in the performance prefs does nothing to speed things upOctopiStimuli
