I have a friend who's brother had a sneaky girlfriend who stole over 80k and invested in secret bitcoin. The money was just recovered and now he has $700,000 he was not expecting. I guess thieving girlfriend stock can be volatile, but with a little patience, potentially profitable. I'm still trying to understand how he wasn't aware of the 80k loss to begin with. Pretty incredible.

    • is said friend a millionaire? How could you not know 80k is missing? (like you said)dbloc
    • He is. Currently living off a trust but I suspect he's sitting on millions more if a parent died (both youngish and still alive). He has a real life money tree.shellie
    • how did that work legally? how did the person manage to reclaim not only the stolen money but the money made from it? crazy... especially if bitcoin, must be afadein11
