Watched 'A Danish Girl' last night. Christ, what a load of aimless gash.
I had fuck all empathy for the main protagonist and found his descent into transforming into a n overly-self-obsessing teenage girl utterly painful and pointless to watch.
If I viewed it as a tragedy, with his long-suffering wife as the main character, I could almost appreciate its raison d'etre, but this was not that movie.
- I don't know why my partner can't watch this sort of shit on her own — she's been bugging me for days to watch it. Its not like I subject her to ST:Discovery..!detritus
- (I've tried, I admit - I've gone on at length about the strong female roles, but she's not buying any of it. Clever girl).detritus
- STD does *not* have a strong female lead. They've got a Mary Sue.Continuity
