    Had a car issue yesterday; towed it into the shop and waited...

    ...Borrowed a buddies manual transmission vehicle (learned 15+ years ago on it, was rusty, but managed)...

    ...On my way home shifting between 4th and 5th, it started making some strange sound(s) and than started to smell of burning...

    ...Pulled it over, tried to restart.

    No luck.

    Had it ALSO towed to the same garage.

    Vehicle #1 needed a simple fuel regulator replaced: $300.

    Fine.

    Vehcile #2 (borrowed vehicle) needs the clutch replaced: $1400.

    Fuck.
