    With the news that the convicted and pardoned 85-year-old former Sheriff Joe Arpaio will run for the Senate (R-Ariz), I have to ask: Is this a grift? Or do these guys really think there are enough registered bigots in the state for them to win?

    • I'm in AZ. There's no way Arpaio could win. He just lost the race for Sheriff by 10+ points. That's in Maricopa County where R's are heavier weighted.mathinc
