  Been playing fortnite on my PS4 with a keyboard and mouse, haven't played like that in years and am totally shit now... but my fuck this is what I love. Tried on my (just over a year old) macbook first a couple of weeks ago... was getting 20-30fps at 720p on lowest quality settings! On the PS4 the graphics are just as good as a PC rig that I could never afford and don't have to stress about all the inevitable months of ini file tweaks that come with it. Why the fuck do no console titles support keyboard + mouse! and why are macs so shit!

  Game is great too, Epic killing it with the updates/ bonus game types etc.

  • i'm told it's because keyboard & mouse offer an unfair advantage to players on the same network as controller gamers...scarabin_net
  • i've never seen any proof scarabin. maybe at pro level but for most there are advantages and disadvantages. if i'm one of epic's test subjects i'm doing my bitkingsteven
  • to disprove that myth :-D love playing with a controller too. tbh for me it's the immersion from sitting at a desk with a monitor in your face vs on the sofa...kingsteven
