    I went in thinking I'd side with the critics over the fans, given how fickle people can be, but I gotta agree with what people are saying.

    They need to move away from the stupid, horribly unrealistic things like the locksmith crap, or even the rebellious pilot. Real tech makes it all just bad writing.

    They need to focus on the mythical parts of the force. They had an opportunity on the island but reduced it to some dumb mirror hall thing (c'mon, she see's herself as the danger? Hmm). They should/could develop the complexity between Kylo and her but they went Hollywood dumb (imho).

    I fear it'll be run by $$ and they will be even more generic than the last Star Trek. At this point, I have little interest in the next one, it's an old plot and I feel like I've seen it 10 times already.
