    So now that we can be on the spoiler page:

    1. This movie was so gorgeous and that shot of Snoke's ship getting cut in half was one of the best visuals Star Wars has ever seen. Holy fuck.

    2. Also the lightsaber battle in the Throne Room. Yowza.

    3. My major gripe was Leia's "Skywalking." I do like this idea:

    ... that Johnson was elevating the mystery behind the Force, away from the BS prequel explanation and back to the exciting 'what the hell is this power.' But having Leia survive both an explosion and a space vacuum, without being trained as a Jedi, leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

    4. I love the porgs, fuck you, don't at me.

    5. That scene of Luke elevated on the island brought my theater to cheers. It was a gun in the first act when Kylo told Rey, "This (force projecting) would kill you," so I'm OK with Luke going out that way. But as he was dying he looked at one of the suns and there was a black spec in front of it - that could not have been a mistake - and I wonder what it was.

    6. IMO it would have been much more powerful for Leia to die in the kamikaze maneuver and Finn to die charging at the ground cannon ... I get that they both were being set up for big roles in IX but Luke's death seems oddly detached - it would primarily affect my (older) generation, as opposed to the kids who might have started with TFA.

    7. Really though this kicked ass and I need to see it again on the biggest and loudest screen possible.

    • 1 - the ships in half was WOW.
      2 - didnt like majority of it. Staging was off.
      3 - leia was terrible. She should have been the one to grive the ship through      mugwart
    • her story was leading up to the sick of the suffering it was causingmugwart
    • so I agree very much with 6mugwart
    • I also bet Luke will be around for IX, still has to finish teaching Rey (only 2 of 3 lessons were taught). Also like you said $$colin_s
