Seems like other countries are in on it.
Japan has the Himawari 8 that they claim is a full time stationary satellite that captures earth in real-time.
Notice the clouds move but the earth doesn't.
I'm not even sure how they make it so stable floating in orbit.
Looks like cgi going in real time.
