AC: Origins is still a great game, but boy it lacks creativity.
For example, they have this big ass beautiful Hippodrome but there is absolutely no story around it. You just uncover the place, go there to win 100 Drachmen for a race and thats it. I'd have made some great story around it where you need to sabotage others racers and make new friends/enemies with a spectacular final race etc.. but no, go there collect xy.
Boring.
That's somehow the whole game, no plot twists nothing. Just packed with places to explore and kill random guys you are not even introduced to, no explanation why you are the good and they are the bad ones. Walk around in the city with 200 peasants and get spotted by a guard? They attack you, for no reason.
Plain ass stupid. But the main storyline is okay and gameplay is overall fun. But this is a huge bummer..

- i've killed the snake and the ibis so far and those were very well explained...scarabin
- also, you're getting attacked by guards because you're in a restricted area. i do wish parry mechanics were better thoughscarabin
