I hate linkedin. I recently downloaded the app to my phone. Thiis morning I find a happy birthday message from the guy who's been sending sexually harrassing messages on my phone, then on Facebook and has now shown up in my linked in inbox because I forgot to block him there. ugh fuck this guy. hed be better off falling all the way back. Im surprised he didn't consider never, ever talking to me again now that absolutely everyone is getting in trouble for this stuff. or maybe hes trying to make contact because he's scared and is trying to gage where my head is at now. ive been carefully trying not to out this guy while also getting this off my chest starting with my original post last march or april. hes really pushing his luck. normally when someone blocks someone on several social media platforms it means go away, and also not just go away but you don't need updates about my life in any form. what's his fucking problem?

    • cant you block people on linkedin?Al_dizzle
    • That's fucked up. I never understand the stalky types.garbage
    • he thinks he's special. that's the problem with narcissists -- they have no self-awareness.Gnash
    • the only thing that would pierce the armour is if it affects his world adversely -- like his wife or boss finding out.Gnash
    • ^ even then, it would be your fault, not hisGnash
    • Of course I can block him on linkedin. That's a pretty stupid observation. I just hadn't bc i never use it, so there he overstepped because he could.shellie
    • rational responses to irrational behaviour won't change the way he acts, unfortunately. you're either destined to keep sealing the leaks, as you're doing, ...Gnash
    • ... or make the risky move to directly affect his worldGnash
    • I just don't want to open myself up to any legal backlash. I'm going to meet with a lawyer in December while in California.shellie
    • sucks that the impact of doing the right thing has the potential to devastate your life instead of his. so sorry. don't know what to say.Gnash
    • Just start calling him Weinstein, he should get the message...robotron3k
    • Linkedin is for work only (how I see it).
State clearly he has crossed a line and its not approved. If he stays on that line - report him.

    • ^ she's done all the rational things, mug. the guy is predator who believes he's invincible.Gnash
    • I have no doubt. But as long as there is a digital paper trail for linked in/ FB to follow then shellie should be able to report.mugwart
    • For better or worse...
      ..,
      HAPPY BIRTHDAY~~!!

    • shellie, i hope that lawyer can help you get rid of this asshole. wish you the best!oey
    • Sorry to hear. I'm with Gnash, would block him and try to move on. Maybe the lawyer can send send a cease and desist that will hopefully get the message acrosssofas
    • but not escalate the situation in that this guy would find the attention thrilling or feel to threatened and backlash.sofas
    • He doesn't have a problem, he's too stupid to realize he has a problem.rabattski
    • Make sure to keep screen shots, report him to all the sites. He's probably doing it to several people.formed
