    I recently read about a comparison between two versions of an old game converted to Mobile - Railroad Tycoon, or something. One had an all-in price of <£10 and Add on packs of around <£5 apiece. Less than £20 for the full game.

    The other would cost £97 to have all the content, if you added up all of the microtransacted add-ons (wtf are they called again?)

    Something very wrong with that industry.

    • I think the last Dead or Alive title had/has almost $1000 worth of DLC released inc. 5 or 6 season pass costume sets.face_melter
