I used to question if banning guns would help. Then I saw how it effected Australia when they banned them in 96. Gun murders dropped off a cliff immediately, and there has been NO mass shootings there since. Thats crazy.

Of course people can still get them illegally, but they are MUCH more expensive, much harder to get. Sit down and really think about how you would get a gun if they were banned here. Ill bet many of you wouldnt even know where to start.

This is so out of control in this country with these crazy ass white people. Its just time to try and ban them and see what happens. WTF do we have to lose here? Lets see if the frequency goes down. Ill bet anything it will.

    • < actually much of the gun crime in USA inner cities is done with guns bought on the street and by inner city youth or criminals who couldn't buy one anyway..bliznutty
    • but i'm not trying to argue.bliznutty
    • and most mass shootings are done with legal assault rifles.CygnusZero4
    • which begs the question, why are "assault" rifles legal in the first place?monospaced
    • For the most part they are not. For ex the AR in AR15 does not stand for assault rifle. It stands for ArmaLite rifle - the company that designed in the 50'sGM278
    • Now, the fully automatic version of the AR15 is the M16 which is a military weapon. The AR15 is semiautomatic. While illegal to do so, ppl cn switch a fewGM278
    • parts in the lower receiver and turn it into a full auto. I think allot of the legality of ownership gets mucked up in that.GM278
    • I mean, average joe can walk into a Wallmart and buy an AR15. Swap out a few parts for 2K and it's a military weapon.GM278
    • that's the issuemonospaced
