Looking to pick this up soon, and there's an expansion as well. I like the concept of these tile-type game board layouts.
Forbidden Desert is the other one I mentioned above that's by the same creator as Forbidden Island (which we love), similar gameplay with some new mechanics.
- I found that the monsters were just silly tokens against printed figures a bit sillymugwart

- Its ok, split into two halves and the first part can drag a bit after a few games. Then the reveal to the second half and its normally 1 vs the rest...Nutter
- and if youre not strong with rules, then being alone vs the rest can be a bit daunting. You can always houserule and switch characters though...Nutter
- Its got charm, the reveals are surprising and fun, and its nice to play now and then, but you most likely won't play more than 2 games in a row.Nutter
