    holy shit, I've been using set matte in Premiere but I never thought to look it up in AE.

    ALL THESE WASTED YEARS OF LAYER MANAGEMENT.

    I need a drink.

    • and it does shit the bed constantly in Pr as well. If you have to re-use the same mask for multiple layers, you can use a null to control all your masks.zarkonite
    • I wrote to Dear Adobe a few months ago and they emailed me within a few hours about the update to include the masks and effects but it still fails now and then.CyBrainX
