    Well, I tried to give No Man's Sky a go, but after a few hours of uninstalling and reinstalling C++ redistributable, steam, NMS, the fucking thing wouldn't launch. Black screen, and then it crashed. No logs to point to anything.

    I've got at least 20 games in my steam library, old ass games like RFactor from over 10 years ago, and I don't have problems with any of them.

    There's a 6 page or so thread in the Steam forums about the problem. No real answers to be had. Some people suggested antivirus, but I don't run that on my gaming pc. I don't even surf the web on it.

    Oh well, not to be I guess. Requested a refund because I'm not going to get stuck with it.
