Hey guys, is there a tag or other way to restrict an object to receive light?

For example I have a ball and a floor with triangles on top, I want the ball to receive the light, but I dont want the floor to receive that light

(I want to set up a different light for the floor)

    • You can add objects to be excluded in the "Projects" tab in a light. In some cases adding a Compositing Tag and checking off "Seen by GI" can be useful as wellevilpeacock
    • oh you are the man!
so simple but I could't figure it out thank you!

    • I forget where stuff like that is all the time; it only comes up for some projects.evilpeacock
    • Also, if you use Ambient Occlusion with transparent refractive objects, remember to use a compositing tag with Seen by AO unchecked to prevent severe shadows.CyBrainX
