A year and 3 months slaving over a personal project. It is draining and become soul destroying, working to like 2-3 am every night all night.
Son passes out I start working. GF sleeps I work. Plus a fucking cool and yet intense with step learning curve job.Made it to the final major development (rest is pretty much down hill) but hit into an issue that has made me have to rebuild an entire text edit undo system. Frustrating as hell as their is undo mechanism directly underneath it and it works beautifully. There is a quick way out but it will effect the users experience negatively.
Fuck you Qt for making your undo text stacks private.
Fuck you c++ for your stack overflow messages reading like an autistic alien on mushrooms. Why cant it be as simple as ¨you broke shit here¨ and not have to react the final moments of close encounters of the third kind.Going to beg my GF for some help, thank fuck shes the clever one. Off to get some shut eye.
