discovered my favorite pizza joint has a hidden speakeasy upstairs. turns out the bartender's last name is crowley and she's an artist. told her i've been into metal lately and she pulls out this mastadon record and pops it onto the turntable... i open my jacket and am wearing a mastadon tee.. she said they left her the record and come in all the time. fuckin' weird synchronicities...
i stayed for several hours shooting the shit about philosophers and tarot, had four whiskeys and an IPA and she only charged me 20 bucks. looks like i've found a new spot!
