Latest polls indicate that the Senate health bill is supported by only 17% of Americans, with only a mere 35% of Republicans supporing. 8% of Dems and 15% of independents support it. That makes the bill just slightly more popular than congress itself.

The delay to vote on the bill is not expected to help the bill pass. A PAC closely tied to Trump called America First has already started running attack ads against the Nevada Senator who says he won't support the bill, a move which McConnell described as "beyond stupid."

All of this seems to indicate the bill will not make it through the Senate, but in this crazy world where poll numbers and facts don't matter, I'm still scared. I didn't think it'd pass the House, and I didn't think Trump would be elected. So wtf do I know?

    • Yup, I am scared too. There's zero logic going on out there, beyond a few hold outs (that are smart and preserving their futures).formed
