    Finally got around to buying a nice desk chair to use at home after years of using some horrible thing from Ikea. Was set to consider the Steelcase Gesture, but didn't like the price ($1k+) and looked at the Steelcase Amia, and the Herman Miller Sayil.

    In the end, a certified refurbished Aeron was the best option and under $500. I've had these before in offices, they're beasts in terms of durability. Working from home all week and can now do so in perfect comfort.

    • It was a necessary splurge purchase. Best part is that the arm wrests do go low enough to let me play guitar in it. That's been the biggest challenge in findingmg33
