Give me an honest answer: anyone else here fell all the falling-over-themselves to have fun with "covfefe" that society is doing is pretty much an indication of how absolutely bored most people are and how starved people are for something, anything, to feel connected to others?

I'm not judging you guys who have posted about it - it suits the humor here and I know we're all really laughing at how dumb the president is. But this shit is the new momentary catch-phrase meme being used by media, across social media, etc. It's not the first time something like this has blown up into pop culture and it won't be the last, but I don't know... I kind of get that secondhand embarrassment feeling that something like this gets people really excited.

    • yeah ... the attention given to this is stupid high, for no good reason ... but at the end of the day, the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES tweeted itmonospaced
    • While I agree it's not newsworthy in any way, I feel like everyone's dropped standards so far it's not a big deal. That would not have been ok with anyone elsemonospaced
    • Despite the typo, it wasn't even a full message. What comes after covfefe???monospaced
    • What we have today -- and, really, what we have had since the day Trump came into the White House -- is a deeply isolated President who spends lots of time, kona
    • particularly at night and in the early morning, watching TV and tweeting.kona
    • That lack of discipline reveals that there is simply no one who can tell Trump "no." That's important. (CNN)kona
    • oh kona, that's pure covfefe!monospaced
