Set up a new desk for all my music gear this weekend, did one of the Ikea "recording studio desk" hacks with a tabletop and a shelf with short legs above it. Bought adjustable legs, got it all put together, speakers, monitor, etc. and realized it's just a bit taller than I'd like it to be. Now I've got to take everything off and accurately lower the height. Dumb.

- lol! I did this a long time ago with my first real ikea desk. Put it together with everything on top of it and it was about 3 inches too low. FUUUUUUuuukona
