"The Obama years have been a boom time for America's weapons makers. Since 2009, the United States has approved arms deals worth some $200 billion—more than under any other presidency. The deals include sending Apache helicopters to Qatar, "bunker buster" bombs and cluster munitions to Saudi Arabia, and Hellfire missiles all over the place. "

so either Obama or Trump, US War Industry agenda never change.

Arm the radicals in Syria, send heavy arms(for free?) to Marxist/Leninist Kurdish terror organizations and now Saudis who are known for supporting Al-Qaida and ISIS.

Most of the Americans did not say anything when those arms were sold to Saudi's during Obama's term so they shouldn't say anything now, otherwise it's straight up hypocrisy.

    • Actually, lots of people criticized Obama's war efforts. Many people who voted for him were openly critical of arms deals, the drone program, etc.nb
    • Side note: "If you didn't say anything then, you shouldn't say anything now" is one of the stupidest arguments I've ever heard.nb
    • don't be so quick. If one is against dealing arms to cruel regimes but they don't say anything when their favorite guy is doing it is hypocrisy i'm saying.Beeswax
    • it's really important for someone to acknowledge this trap, then they will be able to see things more clear.Beeswax
    • I don't think many would argue there's been much difference in parties in regards to war agendas. Trump, if anything, is the hypocrite.formed
    • He's the one that promised to stay out of other's business and yet here is, puppet following the same pattern.formed
    • odd that people act like no on criticised Obama. You kidding right?inteliboy
    • I think there is a difference in that Obama wanted to normalize relations with Iran while Trump and the people around him are very hostile to Iran.yuekit
