  Don't buy lacie rugged drives. They use the most poorly made plugs and disconnect constantly. Even at the slightest touch or bump. Goes for both the USB-3 and USB-C versions.

  Have had this problem time and time again with these bloody things. Am at a production company so they are the go-to drive here due to being "rugged". Yeah right.

  • mine work perfectly...and I have lots of them. actually I switched to the rugged ones because a porsche designed one died after 3 month.uan
  • I always unplug the cables for transport to avoid damage to the plugs.uan
