What do you mean you have "other" on your iPad? How do you know it's exact file size? Is that a mysterious app? Does it affect all iPads or just some? Does it affect iPhones or just your iPad?
- if you plug your phone on your computer and open up itune. you can see some spaces are categorized as "Others"pango
- "Other" can be lots of things such as caches, messages, prefs, etc. I've seen no issues with it being corrupt crufty data since iOS 7.evilpeacock
- It bloats if you sync wirelessly and move lots of media around. Usually a wired sync can fix it.monospaced

- I am also totally fed up with the App stores on all three platforms. It's an advertising nightmare and a stronghold of shitty software.mekk
