hey sonny perdue! i got your school lunch right here you gravy swilling bastard. http://www.politico.com/story/20…

Perdue went to a Virginia elementary school Monday to debut a plan to change some of the school lunch standards championed by the former first lady by weakening restrictions on salt and requirements for whole grains, making it easier to serve things like white bread and regular pasta in lieu of their whole-grain brethren.

    • Because kids shouldn't eat healthy and the companies supplying the food should be able to increase their margins with looser requirements.kona
    • I remember the Trump supporters at his rallies crying for shittier food for their children. I believe replacing milk with Mtn Dew was a rallying crykona
    • "ketchup is a vegetable!"monospaced
    • There are grounds for debate there. Bodybuilders recommend drinking black coffee for the caffeine and dumping the milk to improve performance in exercise.omg
    • If you really want to get your little plump children on the slim trim, try giving them exercise first before that whole grain biscuit. yuck!omg
    • so you're suggesting kids drink black coffee for the caffeine then?

are you also really saying whole grain is worse than processed foods?
      kona
    • of course you are to both, because you're a complete idiot.kona
    • I know that is the current general belief, but your kids are mostly getting fat from junk food they eat at home and playing video games all day.omg
    • some of these bodybuilders are not entirely restricting themselves to whole grain to get the fit they earn through exercise.omg
    • this is about serving more nutritious food, you dunce, not about making kids skinnier, and keeping corporations out of the meal planning!monospaced
    • you're arguing FOR a corporation changing the health standards that would benefit them financially ... only a world class asshole whole admit thatmonospaced
    • your lack of knowledge on bodybuilder and childrens nutrition just in these past few notes leads me to believe your childhood diet was paint chipskona
    • Obama was aiming at better nutrition to battle childhood obesity as a problemomg
    • Maybe we should look at what the military is eating to see how they stay off the lard wagon.omg
    • omg is impossibly stupid. Now he's suggesting we give kids rations like the military.kona
    • lol. rations is only used when food becomes a shortage.omg
    • and when food rations becomes a shortage, I'm sure mono will be there pushing for more PBS funding, arguing how business is not the way.omg
    • Jesus, you people wind up easier than a clockwork monkey. omg talks shit all the ding-dong day. Fucking leave it.face_melter
    • "omg talks shit all the ding-dong day" means he's a troll, and we are sick of trollsmonospaced
    • oh great. face_melter here to chime his ding-dong with no ding or dong.omg
    • mono for some reason can't understand why budget cuts are necessary when money is tight. And rations is a pretty good example of why budget cuts are needed.omg
    • I understand perfectly.monospaced

    • 'Bodybuilders recommend [...] dumping the milk to improve performance in exercise.' No, no they don't. For those of us who actually bodybuild, milk is ...Continuity
    • ... a key component of our diet, notably for its protein and essential fats content.

Your rank stupidity is second only to your boy Trump's.

    • I'm not saying you're all muscles and no brain. I'm saying some bodybuilders recommend. I agree with u, though I'd prefer water to milk for pre and milk on postomg
    • Milk is very low protein compared to those powders they beef themselves on. Like 35 to 60 grams of protein per scoop.omg
