    ^ Here's a few reasons why:

    • By now, we should have reversed engineered and master alien spaceships from the Roswall crash.

    • Or, we were able to get our hands on nazis ufo's technology and master that as well.

    • Or there are too many pranksters with drones these days.

    • or they are preparing us for the disclosure (better late than never).

    • how long do you think it would take for davinci to reverse engineer an iphone?Gnash
    • agree about the dronesGnash
    • how do you know we haven't reverse engineered craft and what on Earth makes you think those in control would share such world changing technology with the restfadein11
    • of us? It would kind of spell the end of the big monopolies of planet Earth.fadein11
    • agree with gnash about agreeing about the drones and davincisarahfailin
    • heard once, if we can get read of the oil etc, wed only have to work like 2-3 days as price would drop. Imaging what people could do with their time.mugwart
    • I get your davinci ref but let say we fast forward to 1980, the PC are about to be the next big thing, which means we know more than back in 1947Maaku
    • I think that by 2017, we should be able to at least turn on the damn spaceship, lolMaaku
    • The Davinci/iPhone comparison is way off. It would be more like a Chimpanzee trying to reverse engineering the iPhone.Morning_star
    • ^ How do you know that? We have no idea how far ahead they may or may not be. All comparisons are off.set

    • Firstly, Wittgensteins 'Understanding a Lion'. Secondly, the Fermi Paradox gives me no reason to believe they've ever got here.Morning_star

    • Fermi paradox only applies if you already don't believe they haven't got here. It is not a proof that they haven't.fadein11
