I noticed the other week that whenever I count out aloud (quite a lot as it happens, because of my work and also: slightly stupid) my accent has a tinge of a Geordie to it.
When I was a young kid I had a mixed Geordie/Scottish accent (until Scottish FATHER sent me to elocution to be rid of it when I was 8, horrified as he was by it), so it's not entirely spastic-random, but it is fairly random still.
Since I've noticed I now cannot not notice, and so that in turn is driving me a little nuts.
How man, canny lad.
