I dont really view the game as a time sink. Im playing this instead of watching tv or whatever else any of us would do in our down time, and I dont see the difference between playing breath of the wild for 200 hours, or playing 10 other games that total 200 hours.

I play a lot of games and have been for decades, and its one of the best games ive played. Idk if I would call it the best game ever made like a lot of people are, no way to determine that to me, but its among the best I would say. Easily one, if not the best open world game ever made. There are no games on this level on any machine over the last couple gens.

Its weird bc the game often doesnt feel like there is a real goal to it. Immediately when you start the game you have a main quest in your list, DESTROY GANON. Thats the goal. Everything else is totally optional, but as you roam this incredible world, everywhere you head there really is incredible things to discover. Just random puzzles out in the world, beautiful sights that youll want to take screenshots of constantly, really funny writing with the people you encounter in the world, all kinds of really useful things to collect and upgrade that youll need since the game is not easy. Really well made. Everyone here should play it at some point.

    • Even after 100 hours it never ceases to stop amazing and surprising me with new things.CygnusZero4
