Missing a major deliverable deadline because the animator grossly underestimated the encoding time required to output the videos. I feel sick.

- 14-hours per screen, and we have 9 screens synchronized. Ugh.monospaced
- Now we've got 8 different people each running an encode for a separate screen, so we'll make the deadline, barely.monospaced
- that's also a smart move, my idea would be to buy the capacity from some encoding/transcoding service. 14h*9 is almost a weeksted
- Files to Barcelona by tomorrow, so it looks like HDs are getting couriered, or someone's getting on a plane, to deliver these. Total cluster.monospaced
- Good news is we won't miss the deadline. Bad news is that the animator is going to have to do some serious explaining for his misjudgment and process blunders.monospaced
