I used to do it back in high school sometimes. Just get out the clippers and do everything on a #3 guard.
The last time I did it was probably about 10 years ago now.
As other have mentioned doing the edges in the back is the hardest part. But teenagers by-and-large have a lot less scraggly neck hairs than us old guys now. That part would require a little more finesse if I were to do it today.
