Yes, actually. We recently launched our new Dotcom presence and are seeing some big dips in page rank. In particular our campaign landing pages have dropped significantly.
Someone in Marketing said they were told by a third-party vendor that our Marketo forms (which are 3rd party embeds) will actually penalize page ratings since they are not hosted on the same domain. Is this true or false? Does Google penalize pages for hosting 3rd party forms?
- how are you calculating pagerank? no you shouldnt be penalised but theres a range of things you can do just in case. email metrooperbill
