  I remember summer after Junior year of college I didn't feel like getting a real job and it was late so I offered to intern for free for a graphic designer I liked. I went to his apartment once a week and helped him scan things and did basic layouts, but never any real design.

  I just remembered him and realized we haven't talked since. It's weird to think back and I wonder why I did it. He must have been flattered that I reached out to him.
