    Scarabin,

When I was in MX City visiting with my father. We were going through some of his studio supplies and I came across a big heavy bag of what seemed like rocks. I asked him what it was and he mentioned that someone had gifted him those to see if he needed them for his art. When I opened it up I was stoked to see they were vintage letterpress printing blocks. No idea where they came from, or if they are worth anything, but they were built out of some seriously hard wood.

He has actually been using a letter "L" on his new paintings as a stencil. The "L" represents "liberty" since all his paintings are now from the outside of prison.

Anyway I thought this might help with the inspiration you are looking for. I can probably have him send me a bunch of these if you want.

Anyway check out some pics I took with my cell.
