UI is a precursor to CRO - its about helping the customer reach the end point quickly i.e. checking out or making an enquiry/registering etc
UX is all of the little feelgood things you can add to your design like making buttons respond to interaction, the messages being displayed and might even mean extending the user journey if it vontributes to the experience of the design.
- Isn't the User Interaction Designer (iXD) responsible for "all of the feel good things you add to your design"?utopian
