should i start at the beginning with sg-1, or skip to infinity, atlantis, or universe?

- SG-1 is fucking brilliant. It gets better and better and then got shit when Jackson and O'Neil leave but that's not for like 12 seasons or somethingset

I've watched SG1 in it's completion 4 times now... it really is that 'fun'... it gets very "Erich von Däniken" in terms of 'Aliens or Gods'PonyBoy - 'Universe' from the start was more about the humans on the show—personal social / sexual identity and relationships shit—far less sci fi...more soap opera zzzzPonyBoy

- Yea universe was more like the neverending cliff-hanger empirical bullshit of a lot of other more recent series. It was ok but SG-1 doesn't take...set
- ...itself so seriously. It's an on-going story line but each episode has it's own contained story so you can just sit down and watch one and be satisfiedset
- that's what i disliked about star trek: enterprise. the first season was mostly self-contained stories and then at some point they decided there needed to bescarabin
- an overarching story and it all went downhill. with episodics i can bail if i don't like a story but still enjoy the seriesscarabin
- I tried watching Atlantis, but I just couldn't get into it. So slow. The original movie rules tho.sea_sea
- Atlantis will make sense if you watch SG1(and be much more enjoyable)... else I could see it being pretty hokey if you have only watched the orig. SG moviePonyBoy
