Was this photo a real photo created with lighting and exposure?
Or was image created with Adobe software?
Any ideas on how I could achieve this effect, thanks.

- He shot with different filters way back before color and would layer them so when light shined through, color would show.jaylarson
- A way to maybe achieve the effect would be to shoot multiple exposures then turn on and off different color channels and explore that way.jaylarson

- Back lit. The light and the person are on the other side of the screen. Now that sharp line in the middle is a bit tricky.pango
- Easiest way to do it is with a projector. That way you can have crips lines. Otherwise any gels are all going to creat blurry lines.pango
- Or magenta gel right on the light and a giant blue gel with straight edge set up further from the lightpango
- And the double exposure that shit to get dark shadow in the middle.
Would be my guess.pango - Jay. I think with colour filter right on camera, you wouldn't be able to get that hard edge right in the middle.pango
