Enjoyed reading that. A lot rings true over the other side of the pond too.
When I hear stories about people nearly going bankrupt it reminds me of how lucky I am to be living in a country that has a free national health service and pray it remains that way.
Your article is also a reminder for me that I need to kick my ass into gear and get back on track with a side project that'll be both fun to do and hopefully bring in some extra moneys.
