    Stedelijk? nee! haha - I'm not a huge fan of that one, but love the Eye.

    For territory to stay in, I always recommend Jordaan or De Pijp. Lots of stuff happening in those areas.

    Like shopping? Check out the 9 streets
    Coffee? Screaming Beans (in the 9 streets), Scandanavian Embassy
    Amazing cookies? Van Stapele
    Dutch beer bar: Arendsnest
    Interesting food choices? De Pijp (just wonder)

    (btw, anyone who lives in AMS will now know where I live from those locations)

    If I were there I'd love to take you around, but out of town for work at the moment :/
