For the longest time I thought he was just another loud mouthed designer like Mike Monteiro.
Then I met the guy and he completely changed my perception of him. He's such a humble human being. I've seen him talk about 5-6 times now, and he continues to be stand as one of my faves.
When his monograph came out this year, I was floored. I'm not sure there's another designers alive that is as passionate and prolific as Draplin. If you don't have it yet, I recommend dropping the $25 for the monograph, it's quite good (lots of great stories accompany all of the work).
