    Adventures in Arnold Render continue - it be the fucking shit, yo!
    Render quality and fidelity almost instantly kicks Vray's flabby arse. Making materials is a fucking trip but totally makes sense once you understand the methodology:

    Now I have Object and Material ID's sussed, which is a huge part of our workflow. Next up, alphas and render/composite visibility.

    • we're using arnold as-well with custom stuff all the way. Rad but expensive regarding rendertime vs noise.ApeRobot
    • I noticed that, but as we only do single images we can afford to take a hit on time - especially when the IPR window is so helpful in quickly testing materials.face_melter
    • Still liking it though. My only gripe so far is the lack of camera correction - Vray has the ability to offset vert/horiz. distortion during render.face_melter
